Things to do in Pelion
Use Centaur Villa in Agios Ioannis as your base for beach days, village visits and time outdoors. Choose the experiences that suit your family or group and the season of your stay.

Beach days
Start with the beaches of Agios Ioannis, Papa Nero and Plaka. Combine swimming and time by the sea with a relaxed meal in the village, then return to the villa’s veranda.
Damouchari & Tsagarada
Explore Damouchari and visit Tsagarada for village squares, traditional architecture and a change of scenery from the coast. A rewarding way to spend a day discovering eastern Pelion.
Walking & hiking
Pelion’s cobbled paths and woodland trails bring together mountain and sea. The Tsagarada–Damouchari route is one option to explore. Choose a route that suits your group and check current access and weather before setting out.
Village excursions
Plan a drive through Pelion’s traditional villages, including Tsagarada, Portaria or Makrinitsa. Leave time to enjoy the squares and the scenery; these are separate excursions rather than places all within walking distance of the villa.
Local food & relaxed evenings
Try regional dishes such as spetzofai, savoury pies and spoon sweets. The village tavernas and the villa’s fully equipped kitchen give you the choice between dining out and enjoying a meal together at home.
Autumn & winter stays
Enjoy quieter village visits and time in the mountains during the cooler months. For skiing, check the Pelion Ski Centre’s current operating conditions before planning a visit. Back at the villa, central heating and air conditioning are available.
